Kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month, NIGHT MARKET Fiesta en el Mercado, in partnership with Bonfire Event Co. and Mexican Cultural Center, will bring bold flavors and good vibes to Civic Center Park on September 19, from 5-10pm.
This NIGHT MARKET will highlight the diversity and creativity of Denver’s Latin communities through nearly 80 local small business food vendors and artisan retailers representing the cuisines and cultures from throughout the Americas. Come taste savory and sweet street food offerings like tacos, empanadas, skewers, and more while sipping on cocktails and aguas frescas featuring bold flavors you can find from Mexico City to Lima, Buenos Aires to San Juan. Then shop the aisles of artisans with hand-crafted wares with colorful prints, pottery, and more in the marketplace while listening to DJs playing Latin beats. This is all possible through partnership with the Mexican Cultural Center and their dedication to increasing awareness of Mexico’s unique arts, customs, and traditions. Fiesta en el Mercado will celebrate Latino traditions and foster deeper understanding of Hispanic heritage—right in the heart of Denver. Garcia says, “The authentic food, festive cocktails, beautiful handcrafts, and live entertainment will make this Latino celebration unforgettable!”
