Please consider running for the UpDoNA Board of Directors. UNO at Clocktower Cabaret

UpDoNA and Clocktower Cabaret, who is one of our newest Business Members, have been working together to bring UpDoNA members a special activity for the May UNO. On Thursday May 8th, UpDoNA members can enjoy an evening with Avourneen for a super low price of $10 per person (plus a $4 ticket fee). Avourneen is an Irish band that “offers a new take on Irish tradition”, so this should be a ton of fun! Let’s get a big group from UpDoNA and have a great time!

UpDoNA Annual Meeting

UpDoNA’s Annual Meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 4^th, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., at West Saloon and Bar located at 501 16^th Street – corner of Glenarm and 16^th Streets. Please join us for delicious food, drinks, and some special guests. You will also be introduced to the newly-elected UpDoNA Board of Directors. Participate in the City's Review of Zoning and Urban Design Regulations

In February 2025, Denver’s Community Planning and Development (CPD) Department launched the first comprehensive review of the city’s zoning and urban design regulations (including landmark rules) in nearly two decades. The initiative examines whether CPD’s land use and development rules effectively support Denver’s evolving needs, such as affordable housing, climate resiliency, neighborhood design quality, and process efficiencies.

As part of this important work, CPD is seeking community feedback on key regulatory challenges. Here’s where you come in!

The project team has put together a community survey so members of the public can share their input on Denver’s regulations. The survey should take about 10-15 minutes to complete and is open now until April 28.

What is Upper Downtown?

Formerly known as the “Central Business District”, we’re now Upper Downtown and we encompass a large section of the downtown area bordered by Lawrence Street, 20th Street, 20th Avenue, North Broadway, West Colfax and Speer Boulevard.

Our community includes over twenty residential buildings with a mix of condominiums, lofts and apartment rentals. We’re also home to hundreds of businesses (large and small), as well as multiple parks, dining and entertainment venues of all types.
