UpDoNA Donations!

Make an Impact in Your Community

Here is an opportunity for YOU to make a direct impact in our community. Please consider donating to the UpDoNA Cares Committee and/or the Arts & Beautification Committee. Your generous donation of $50 helps UpDoNA Cares Committee Volunteers feed 10 shelter residents at Urban Peak and The Delores Project. A donation of $150 provides 35 lunches.

Donations to the Arts & Beautification Committee will help purchase art supplies and support artists fees for murals and installations.

If you’d like to help provide lunches to those in need or donate towards ongoing and future beautification of our neighborhood, please visit the donations page on the UpDoNA website. 16 LIVE

16 LIVE is bringing music and dance to downtown Denver on 16 Thursdays in August, September and October. The fun will happen at Glenarm Plaza on 16th Street with high energy DJ performances, community dance instruction, silent disco dance battles and crowd-driven competitions. You can take advantage of Glenarm Plaza’s Designated Consumption Zone by purchasing your favorite adult beverage from local businesses.

September UNO

Join your fellow UpDoNA members for our monthly Happy Hour. Our UNO (UpDoNA Night Out) is an opportunity to see old friends and make new ones. Feel free to bring someone and introduce them to UpDoNA. We’re a fun bunch!

Community Meeting with Councilmember Darrell Watson

Residents of One Lincoln Park and all members of the Upper Downtown Neighborhood Association are invited to a special community conversation with Denver City Councilmember Darrell Watson.

Location: One Lincoln Park – 2001 Lincoln Street, Denver Owners Club, 7th Floor

Councilmember Watson will provide an update on key issues affecting downtown Denver, including public safety, housing, economic activity, and city services. He will also take questions from attendees and engage in open dialogue about priorities for our neighborhood. This is an excellent opportunity to hear directly from our District 9 representative and share your perspectives on the future of Upper Downtown and the surrounding area.

We are looking for help in the Membership Committee. These individuals would work with existing Business Members to develop more personal relationships with them, and to contact residential buildings and other businesses to increase the overall membership in UpDoNA.

UpDoNA Event - Tip to Toes Nail

Special Event from Tip to Toes Nail Salon will be hosting an Appreciation Night for UpDoNA members and upper downtown residents.

Date: August 25^th
Time: 5:00 -7:00 PM
Location: 1435 Curtis Unit K1

The salon will be offering special discounts, door prizes and more. Refreshments will be served including drinks and light appetizers! The first 25 customers will be eligible for a pedicure at normal prices plus a discount coupon for later use. We hope you can join us for this fun event and mingle with friends and neighbors!

What is Upper Downtown?

Formerly known as the “Central Business District”, we’re now Upper Downtown and we encompass a large section of the downtown area bordered by Lawrence Street, 20th Street, 20th Avenue, North Broadway, West Colfax and Speer Boulevard.

Our community includes over twenty residential buildings with a mix of condominiums, lofts and apartment rentals. We’re also home to hundreds of businesses (large and small), as well as multiple parks, dining and entertainment venues of all types.
