UpDoNA ANNOUNCEMENTS

UpDoNA Needs You

UpDoNA needs volunteers for two committees.

We are looking for a chairperson for the Social Committee. This person would lead efforts for planning UNO’s (UpDoNA Nights Out) and UpDoNA Eats events, and for planning the annual meeting.

We are also looking for help in the Membership Committee. These individuals would interface with existing Business Members to develop more personal relationships with them, and to contact residential buildings and other businesses to increase the overall membership in UpDoNA.

Annual Meeting

MARK YOUR CALENDARS – the UpDoNA Annual Meeting will be held at Maggiano’s at the Denver Pavilions on Tuesday, June 9th from 4:30-7:30 PM.

Check in will begin at 4:30 p.m. Grab your favorite drink at the cash bar and enjoy passed hors d’oeuvres and a dinner buffet. Mayor Johnston will arrive at 5:00 p.m., followed by Doug Tisdale with the Downtown Denver Development Authority who will discuss investment in Upper Downtown and the future of the Denver Pavilions. We will also have Veo executives take a few minutes to discuss their vehicles and geo fencing technologies.

June UNO

We will not have an UNO in June, but instead, join us at the Annual Meeting on June 9, 2026. We also hope to see you at our next UNO on July 1, 2026.

What is Upper Downtown?

Formerly known as the “Central Business District”, we’re now Upper Downtown and we encompass a large section of the downtown area bordered by Lawrence Street, 20th Street, 20th Avenue, North Broadway, West Colfax and Speer Boulevard.

Our community includes over twenty residential buildings with a mix of condominiums, lofts and apartment rentals. We’re also home to hundreds of businesses (large and small), as well as multiple parks, dining and entertainment venues of all types.
