A warm UpDoNa welcome to our business member, Salon Moda Capelli Denver. Located at the corner of Curtis and 15th Street, the owner, Michelle Kim, recently joined UpDoNa and is delighted by the support of UpDoNa members. The location was established as an Aveda Salon in 1986 until the summer of 2018 when Salon Moda Capelli Denver moved into the space from its former location on 17th and Market. It is a vibrant and busy location, with a spacious, airy and welcoming feel. This locally owned business offers a wide menu of services, including men’s and women’s haircuts, styling, color, highlighting, and eyebrow waxing from a staff of 6. They sell Eufora and Aveda products. To quote one of the stylists, Amy, “One of the things I love the most about working in upper downtown is the diversity within my clientele. It gives me the opportunity to be more creative and learn things from my clients that I would otherwise have no knowledge of. I believe our salon will continue to thrive as upper downtown is developing more, it’s really fun to watch!”
