Stroll through alleys lined with cozy wooden huts and shop for unique, finely crafted artisan gifts and tasty treats brought to you by local and international small businesses. As cheerful sounds of live holiday music fill the air, savor the season with traditional glühwein, German biers, and traditional holiday fare from across Europe.

Entertainment: The Denver Christkindlmarket is the site for merry, family-friendly entertainment with live performances scheduled every weekend, and a variety of unique holiday events. This year, the Market will be hosting classic events including the ever-popular Krampus Nacht and Trachten Nacht, Canine Christmas and Ugly Sweater Night. The Greek Theater stage will be graced by local bands and dancers performing both traditional and modern takes on German Polka songs, blue grass, schuhplattler and more.

Exceptions to Hours: Thanksgiving, November 24: 11 am – 4 pm, Final Week, December 17 – December 23: 11 am – 9pm
ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION: Civic Center Park’s accessible entrances are both on the west side of the park. Enter from Bannock Street on either of the sidewalks that flank the Great Lawn, directly across from the City and County Building.
PUBLIC TRANSIT: Civic Center Park is located just a block from RTD’s Civic Center Station, which is easily accessible on the 16th Street FREE MallRide and Light Rail. In addition, the following RTD buses have routes that stop near the park: 0, 15, 15L, 16, 52.
BIKE: Civic Center Park is at the intersection of many downtown Denver biking routes. There are bike racks available near the park at the McNichols Civic Center Building; Wellington Webb Building; Denver Art Museum and Denver Public Library. To explore Denver’s Bike Map, click here.
UBER and LYFT: Plan to use a ride share app to get to the Market? The best drop off for Uber and Lyft is in front of the McNichols Building, which has a small pull-out area that comes off the main Colfax lane. The best address for Uber and Lyft is 144 West Colfax.
PARKING: There are a variety of surface parking lots and garages near Civic Center Park. For your convenience, many of them participate in SpotHero, an online parking reservation service. The closest options include surface lots on both Court and Tremont between Colfax and 16th, as well as the following nearby parking garage options:
Denver Post Building Garage: 101 West Colfax Ave. Across Broadway from the McNichols Civic Center Building on the north side of the Park. Entrances on Cleveland Place and along southbound Broadway.
Cultural Center Complex Garage: 12th & Broadway. Two blocks from the Greek Theatre on the south side of the Park, near the Denver Public Library and Denver Art Museum. Entrance on 12th Avenue.
Sheraton Downtown Denver: 1550 Court Place. Three blocks from the McNichols Civic Center Building on the north side of the Park. While a pricier option, the Sheraton offers both self-parking (from Cleveland Place turn right on 15th Street) and valet.
Street parking is available but limited around the perimeter of the Park.
