The Clean Upper Downtown Committee focuses on keeping the Upper Downtown streets and neighborhood clean and safe while promoting sustainability.
A “Clean Up Day” is held on the first Saturday of every month with volunteers from Upper Downtown residents and businesses working together to clean up our streets. Relationships are being built with the Downtown Denver Partnership and Allied Security to assist us in keeping our streets clean and safe.
The committee monitors our streets to ensure that graffiti is reported, trash is removed, and that our neighborhood is well-maintained. Additionally, the committee works with the City of Denver in its Sustainable Neighborhood Program.
UpDoNA’s volunteers assist by focusing on our neighborhood. Now is a great time to become a member and join a committee.
On a cold and sunny day in December, our volunteers hit the streets.
The volunteers spread out and swept the streets, removed trash and left the area cleaner than before.
They were rewarded with snacks and a sense of comradry.
UpDoNA is a City Registered Neighborhood Organization representing the community of Denver’s Upper Downtown.
