UpDoNA ANNOUNCEMENTS

Watch For UpDoNA Advertising on 16th St. Digital Kiosks

One of the issues that UpDoNA has faced is how to make more residents and businesses aware that we are here and working for them. IKE Smart City, who provided DDNNO with a month of free advertising in July, is helping us by graciously offering UpDoNA with the opportunity to place advertising on the 16th St. kiosks. Our ad will run in October, and we will periodically run other ads, so watch for them as you stroll down 16th Street.

The October UNO (UpDoNA Night Out) will be held at Panzano on Wednesday, October 1 2025. Stay as long as you want and have a great time with other members.

Grant Appreciation Announcement – 19th & Welton Street Educational Pocket Park

UpDoNA and the Arts and Beautification Committee are thrilled to share that Denver’s 19th & Welton Street Educational Pocket Park has received a generous grant from the former Pacific Premier Trust, now Colombia Private Trust!

Thanks to Parks and Rec’s leadership, the park now features drought-resistant trees, a stunning fountain, and pollinator areas—serving as both an outdoor classroom and a welcoming space for all.

We are sincerely grateful to Pacific Premier Trust and Nick McCallister for championing sustainable, community-driven projects that bring fresh life to our neighborhoods.

What is Upper Downtown?

Formerly known as the “Central Business District”, we’re now Upper Downtown and we encompass a large section of the downtown area bordered by Lawrence Street, 20th Street, 20th Avenue, North Broadway, West Colfax and Speer Boulevard.

Our community includes over twenty residential buildings with a mix of condominiums, lofts and apartment rentals. We’re also home to hundreds of businesses (large and small), as well as multiple parks, dining and entertainment venues of all types.
