Event Logistics:

FESTIVAL days/hours are Saturday, May 6 & Sunday, May 7 from 10:00AM to 8:00PM. FESTIVAL street closures begin on Friday, May 5 at 6:00AM and end Monday, May 8 at 6:00AM.

PARADE will begin Saturday, May 6 at 11:00AM and lasts approximately 1 hour. PARADE staging area will be closed to vehicle traffic Saturday, May 6 from 9:30AM to 1:00PM.

Event Details: A weekend filled with food, fun and culture, Denver’s Cinco de Mayo “Celebrate Culture” Festival puts the spotlight on The Mile High City’s vibrant Latino population. With thousands of attendees expected, it’s one of Denver’s most fun and family-friendly events. The festival features three stages with live entertainment, a low-rider car show, food vendors, arts & crafts vendors, children’s activities and more. The parade kicks off the Festival weekend, traveling through Downtown Denver showcasing cultural performance groups, non-profit organizations, school groups and custom low-riders. Attendees are encouraged to utilize RTD’s Light Rail & 16th Street Mall or carpool and utilize garages in the Golden Triangle neighborhood and surrounding area.

Street Closures: For the FESTIVAL, the following street closure schedule will take effect on Friday, May 5, 2023: 6:00 AM BANNOCK ST: from 13th Avenue to 14th Avenue 14TH AVENUE: from Cherokee Street to Broadway 6:00 PM COLFAX AVE: from Cherokee St to Lincoln St (both directions) 14TH STREET: from Court Place to Colfax Avenue 15TH STREET: from Colfax Ave to Cleveland Place CHEYENNE PLACE: from Broadway to Colfax Ave 7:00 PM BROADWAY: from 16th Street to 13th Avenue 14TH AVENUE: from Broadway to Lincoln REOPENING Streets listed above will remain closed until 6:00 AM on Monday, May 8, 2023. For the PARADE, the staging area street closure will take effect on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 9:30AM and reopen the same day at 1:00PM.
