During October, various members of the Cares Committee prepared and served meals at the Delores Project shelter. Throughout fall and winter, we will continue helping out in the kitchen and other volunteer activities as needed. As one of our first projects with STEP, UpDoNA Cares members met with Meghan Shays (Director of Development at STEP) to review fundraising ads and give feedback. A small group of members of the Cares Committee will join in STEP’s city cleanup on November 5.
