Brent Strausbaugh

Brent Strausbaugh has 20 years of experience in the financial industry focusing on product development, project management and process improvement.   While working at one of the largest international financial institutions he managed a large Middle Market product, was instrumental in developing multiple flagship credit products and has been instrumental in multiple initiatives that saw large financial benefits to the bank.  He also has extensive Project Management experience, managing multiple large regulatory and business projects along with multiple software conversions, including the largest software conversions in two companies’ history. 

Over his career Brent has developed many skills that will benefit UpDoNA.  This includes a disciplined approach to managing projects and the experience to bring new thoughts and ideas to fruition from concept to delivery.   He thinks outside of the box and is heavily relied on to identify and solve complex issues.  He has experience working with diverse teams across multiple organizations to accomplish common goals.   He’s worked extensively in a regulatory compliance and legal environment so he is used to high pressure, high stakes initiatives.

Brent is also active in the community – has was one of the main coordinators of the Columbus UNCF Walk for Education for multiple years, which is one of the largest in the nation.   He has also served as an interim Board Member for a local Columbus charter elementary school and is currently a member of the UpDoNA Arts & Beautification Committee. 

Brent is an Ohio State University alumnus and in his spare time enjoys sumi-e painting, rock climbing in the nearby canyons and hiking many of the Rocky’s beautiful trails.
