UpDoNA is excited to announce that Denver Jazz has joined UpDoNA as a new Business Member, and they are bringing more music to Denver with a new Denver Jazz Fest. The 2025 event will be held from April 3, 2025 through April 6, 2025 in 12 different venues throughout the Denver and Boulder areas. Dazzle, also an UPDONA Business member, and the DCPA will host events in Upper Downtown. Emphasis will be on Downtown and the historic Five Points Cultural District which will serve to establish Denver as a major Jazz destination.
Confirmed headline artists include Dianna Reeves in her first Denver public concert since 2018 and Bill Frisell “In My Dreams” Project, a Denver premiere direct from the highly acclaimed Big Ears Festival. These endearing time-honored icons have deep roots in the Denver community.
Other significant artists include: Omar Sosa, Charles McPherson, Terell Stafford, Ghost-Note, The Headhunters, Isaiah Collier, Garaj Mahal, Rico James, Annie Booth, Art Lande, Ken Walker and more. Also featured will be Joe Lovano’s Paramount Quartet, Indian Trance Singer Ganavya and The Colorado Mambo Orchestra Latin Dance Party.
Chares McPherson and Terell Stafford will also engage front range university programs and Aurora Public School students through masterclasses and workshops at Metro State University, as part of an outreach effort to promote diversity and community.
On Saturday, April 5th, there will be a free stage concert from 12:00PM to 4:00PM at the Galleria at DPCA. Please come to support the Denver Jazz Fest and enjoy the music.
