UpDoNa is pleased to welcome as a new member Kallisto, a casual Mediterranean restaurant located on the corner of 15th and Champa. Kallisto, which means “very beautiful” in Greek, is an apt description of the premises and its culinary offerings.
Moe, Kallisto’s owner, has over 20 years of experience as a restaurant chef and manager. Kallisto follows in the footsteps of his family’s tradition of the cultural importance of cooking and features fresh, healthy, colorful, rich tasting homemade Mediterranean dishes. Familiar favorites include Greek salads, chicken shawarma and baklava.
Moe chose downtown Denver as the location for his Colorado restaurant because he loves city life and the opportunity to share his food with local residents and tourists alike. Moe and his team refurbished Kallisto’s space, which is now tastefully decorated in green and white inside and out, brightly lit and airy.
In addition to in-house dining and carry-out, Moe has established a catering business which can serve local residents and businesses alike for important occasions. Please stop by Kallisto and pay Moe and his food a visit. You will not be disappointed!
